## Overview

The Lead Ride for Cities  organized by Namma Nimma Cycle Foundation in partnership with a member city. 

The Lead Ride for City will bring together mayors, city leadership, business leaders, global influencers, philanthropists, Institutions, Communities , to demonstrate what a strong global coalition united by cycling together can achieve. 

Secure a mandate for organizing Lead Ride on World Cycle Day.

Mayors and City Leadership will use the **Lead Ride Platform**  to show the progress global cities have made in enabling Active Mobility and embracing Active Mobility, highlighting how they are accelerating the delivery of Active Mobility Solutions and helping create a more sustainable, equitable world where everyone, everywhere can thrive.

 Lead Ride City will do the following : 

> **Showcase**
>
> Lead Ride City will showcase the Strategic Action Plan and share success stories in enabling active mobility.
>
> **Envision** 
>
> Lead Ride City will showcase the Strategic Action Plan and the vision for Active Mobility Success.
>
> **Strategize & Innovate**
>
> Lead Ride City will strategize the imperative for  Active Mobility and Innovate the systems and solutions for making Active Mobility Success.
>
> **Lead & Ride**
>
> Lead Ride City will commit their leadership to lead and ride regularly and understand the vulnerability of the cyclists.
>
> **Commit** 
>
> Lead Ride City will commit significant funding and resource for enabling Lead Ride.
>
> **Campaign**
>
> Lead Ride City will support NNCF in organizing campaigns to promote active mobility across the city.
>
> **Collective** 
>
> Lead Ride City will create a collective to drive the vision to transform the city into a cycling city. Active Mobility requires synergy in collective intelligence and collective action.
>
> **Child Rights for Movement**
>

> Lead ride City must Put the needs of children at the heart of spatial planning and urban development – public spaces that work for children, work for everyone .Must ensure a **right of accessibility to public spaces and a right for active mobility in urban spaces, especially for children.** CHILDREN'S CYCLING AND CHILDREN'S RIGHTS are one of the critical factor we are trying to address and ensure kids get the **right to safety- right to clean environment  - right to cycling.**
